An interior designer for the past 30 years, it has always been a dream of Jeannie's to open her own boutique. Jeannie first visited Chincoteague Island in 2002 and fell in love! 11 years later, she purchased an outdated vacation home and transformed it into Sandpiper Boutique. Jeannie has used her knowledge of fabrics to create a line of beach friendly handbags and pillows perfect for outdoor seating. An advocate of using all natural bath and beauty products, Jeannie hand makes her own soap, body butters, candles, and more. She is a native of Taiwan and has brought to Chincoteague High Mountain Black and Jasmine teas from her brother's tea shops in Taipei. When not spending time in Chincoteague, Jeannie resides near Annapolis, MD with her husband, Leo, and dotes on her grandchildren, Evelyn, Elliott, and Ronan.
